Welcome one and welcome all,
Thank you for taking your time and roaming on this part of the internet. UNFLTRD (Unfiltered) is a blog that I run in my free time.
Now to tell you a bit about the person behind the writing. My name is Juan Mendoza and I am a college graduate from New Mexico State University (English degree w/ an emphasis in Rhetoric, Digital Media, and Professional Communication). Simply because I am an English doesn’t mean that my English writing and speaking skills are the best, but I’ve always enjoyed writing since I was in high school.
As you can tell by the website, I do have religious beliefs and consider myself a Christian. If you care to know, I was saved when I was 13-14 and was water baptized at 15. I just graduated from college where I was responding to God’s calling of reaching the multitudes of nations by reaching NMSU through a campus ministry. It was a lot of fun being a small group leader because it showed me the importance of teaching. I am figuring out where God wants me and where he can use me as a tool for His kingdom.
On my free time, you may find me doing things like reading, writing, playing video games, watching YouTube, playing guitar and bass, and occasionally out and about in nature. I love fellowship and community, but I’m an introvert at heart. I believe that one of the best things a fellow Christian man or woman can do is have brothers and sisters around for the highs and lows of life. Whatever you do, DON’T do life alone!
As a quick disclaimer, anything I say or mention on this site does not represent the beliefs or ideas of any church or ministry that I may be a part of or associated with. This is simply a personal blog, where I freely jot down and communicate ideas and thoughts.
As for now, I will leave it at that, but let me know if you have any questions. the best way to reach me is to go to the Contact Page and leaving a comment in any of the posts. You can use that page to tell me a little bit about yourself, as well. I would love to get to know you!
Grace and Peace
P.S. If you want to know more about the blog and not-so-much about me, go to the About Site page.
